Lissa Wolsak was born in California but has lived for many years in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she works as a metalsmith and counselor. She is the author of The Garcia Family Co-Mercy, An Heuristic Prolusion, and Pen Chants. A Collected Poems, called Squeezed Light, is forthcoming from Station Hill.
