(Instance Press), and the trilogy: The Locality Principle, The Silhouette of
the Bridge (America Award, 1997), Semiramis, If I Remember (Avec
Books) as well as the novel, Light While There Is Light (Sun & Moon).
He has translated the French poets Anne-Marie Albiach, Claude Royet-
Journoud, Paol Keineg, Dominique Fourcade, Pascal Quignard, and Jean
Grosjean. His translation of Baudelaire’s The Flowers of Evil is out from
Wesleyan UP. He teaches at Brown University in Providence, Rhode
Island.
Rosmarie Waldrop’s trilogy (The Reproduction of Profiles, Lawn of
Excluded Middle, and Reluctant Gravities) has just been reprinted by New
Directions under the title: Curves to the Apple. Other recent books of
poetry are Splitting Images (Zasterle), Blindsight (New Directions) and
Love, Like Pronouns (Omnidawn). Her collected essays, Dissonance (if
you are interested), was published by University of Alabama Press in
2005. Her two novels, The Hanky of Pippins Daughter and A Form/of
Taking/It All are available in one paperback (Northwestern UP, 2001).
She has translated most of Edmond Jabès’ work (her memoir, Lavish
Absence: Recalling and Rereading Edmond Jabès, is out from Wesleyan
UP) as well as volumes by Emmanuel Hocquard, and, from the German,
Friederike Mayröcker, Elke Erb, Oskar Pastior, Gerhard Rühm.
Together, Keith and Rosmarie have published Well Well Reality (collected
collaborations, Post-Apollo Press), Ceci nest pas Keith Ceci nest pas
Rosmarie (autobiographies, Burning Deck), and translated Jacques
Roubauds’ poems on the streets of Paris: The Form of a City Changes
Faster, Alas, Than the Human Heart (Dalkey Archive, 2006). They co-
edit Burning Deck Press in Providence.
