Sun Yung Shin is co-editor of the chaplet series winteRed and the postcards section of How2: Contemporary Innovative Writing by Women, author of the children’s book Cooper’s Lesson, her essays and poems have recently appeared in Echoes Upon Echoes: New Korean American Writing (Temple University Press), Transforming a Rape Culture (Milkweed Editions), Rain Taxi, Indiana Review, and elsewhere. She is an active member of the Union of Radical Workers and Writers (www.urww.org) and the National Writers Union.
