Jennifer Scappettone, a poet, translator, scholar, and occasional lomodestroyer,
recently moved to Chicago. Her “Abluvion Almanac,” an entropic series of visual
texts, is forthcoming from Outside Voices. She is now at work on "Exit 43", a cross-
lyric archaeology of the landfill and opera of pop-ups commissioned by Atelos
Press. She has translated extensively from the poetry of Amelia Rosselli, and is
curating a special issue of
Aufgabe devoted to contemporary Italian experiment.  
Other work in prose and poetry appears lately in
Dusie,  The Canary,  Zoland
Annual
, and elsewhere. She teaches literature, writing, and aesthetics at the
University of Chicago.
